Anyone who lives in or has visited Great Britain knows that the weather is unpredictable, so when photographer Max Ellis spotted a squirrel in his garden in Teddington one rainy afternoon, giving it a mini toy umbrella to shield itself was a no brainer. Getting this shot was quite tricky, as the umbrella was coated in sunflower seeds and peanut butter before being put on fishing line. Ellis says: “I considered building a covered walkway from their tree because I was getting cramp crouching behind the camera. Fortunately this one popped out and hung around exploring for about six minutes. As the rain got heavier, he was able to shelter for a bit but eventually gave up and headed off home.” Continue reading for more pictures.
