Why spend thousands traveling for shoots, when you could just create tiny miniature sets? That’s exactly what commercial photographer Vatsal Kataria of New Delhi, India, has been doing for his supercar / motorcycle shoots. “I make most of the props and models. I can buy models but I prefer making them in the cheapest way possible. It improve my skills,” said the photographer. Each project takes anywhere from a single day to a full week to complete. “I started miniature photography as an experiment but slowly and slowly I learned a lot in this genre. My motive is to encourage everyone that you can be creative and great photographer – it’s not just expensive gear and props,” Kataria told PetaPixel.
