Croatian artist Ino Zeljak wanted to show genetics at work, so the artist took pictures of random siblings for the Metamorfoza series. The photographer spliced the halves of two images into one combined portrait based on photos of brothers, sisters, along with a mother and daughter. Above, we have two sisters. My Modern Met says, “upon closer inspection, the subtle differences and distortions reveal themselves as details like aged skin, differently colored eyes, facial hair, nose shape, and lip color.” Continue reading for more.
