The PlayStation Portal has been allegedly modded to run PSP games by a group of Google engineers led by Andy Nguyen. A single photo was provided of the device running what appears to be Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
No hardware modifications were required for the PPSSPP emulator to run, thanks to more than a month of work by the two engineers. Currently, there is no set release date, as lots more work is left before everything runs smoothly, although we may see a demo video or two by this weekend.
