PokeTsume Live-Action Pokemon TV Series Japan Trailer
PokéTsume, an interesting live-action Pokemon TV series for Japan, gets its first trailer. The first episode is set to air on October 19 and explores the world of Madoka Akagi, who dives deep into the world of Pokemon when her mother gives her a Nintendo Game Boy Pocket and a copy of the first game.

Madoka Akagi moved from Kanto to Tokyo after deciding to quit her job at a seafood factory and take up a position at a small advertising agency called ADventure. After powering on the Game Boy Pocket with Pokémon Red, a wave of childhood memories come back to her. There’s no word yet on if we’ll see an English adaptation.

I was surprised to receive this offer just days after I’d told a friend that I’d like to work on something related to Pokémon someday. I’m very happy because I’m part of the generation that grew up with Pokémon, having played most of the series from the first to the latest,” said Nanase Nishino, actress playing Madoka Akagi.
