Pet Fish Pokemon Scarlet Violet Nintendo Switch Livestream Credit Card
Popular YouTuber ‘Mutekimaru Channel’ built a special Nintendo Switch controller for their pet fish to let it play games during livestreams, but little did they know that it would lead to credit card fraud of sorts. How does the controller work? Button inputs are registered as the fish swims across specific points on the controller.

It all happened after Pokémon Scarlet And Violet crashed during the livestream and the fish was taken back to the Nintendo Switch main menu. The fish then managed to open up the eshop where 500 yen ($3.85) was promptly added to the owner’s account. All of the Nintendo gold coins it received for the purchase was then used to acquire a golfing cosmetic from Nintendo Switch Sports. This is just another reason to not leave your credit card information saved on any gaming-related account that has linked devices.
