Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake
Ubisoft Forward revealed many things, including the Prince in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. Not just a re-release, this is a full-scale remake developed from the ground up with the Anvil game engine. This title was originally released in 2003 and touted for redefining action adventure gaming with its innovative gameplay, immersive story as well as lovable characters. What can the new game engine do? Well, you get new camera angles, fully remade sequences and a reimagined ninth-century Persia.

Players will get to relive the Prince’s journey for redemption after accidentally releasing the Sands of Time on the Sultan’s Kingdom. Just like the original, players will manifest the heroic Prince alongside the daughter of the Maharaja, Princess Farah. Together, they’ll navigate the palace, battle sword-wielding enemies, dodge trap-filled rooms and in the end, confront the evil Vizier, who controls the Sands of Time. Oh, it also includes the original Prince of Persia game originally released in 1989, which can be unlocked during in-game.
