You’ve seen the A350’s hidden electronics room, now check out a massive remote-controlled Airbus A380 built by Ramy RC. There are pre-built kits out there, but Ramy spent an entire year building this jumbo jet that weighs in at a hefty 55.1-pounds and has a wingspan of 12.7-feet while measuring 11.8-feet long.
Even the largest remote-controlled planes don’t even weigh half of Ramy’s A380, and that’s because the latter needs landing gear as well as four ducted fans for propulsion. Despite not sounding like its real-life counterpart, this A380-800 definitely looks the part with its Emirates livery. Just like the Boeing 747, the A380 production has ended, as the last aircraft (serial number 272) was delivered to Emirates on December 16, 2021. Emirates actually took delivery of eight of the last nine A380 aircraft, with only one of them going to All Nippon Airways (ANA).
