The researchers over at Canada-based Simon Fraser U have developed a purse with an embedded RFID reader that knows what items are placed inside via RFID tags — if one happens to be missing, a light on the outside will show an outline of that item.

RFID tags are inserted into your “stuff,” and a reader at the bottom of the purse makes sure they’re all there before you leave the house.
