Rheinmetall’s Panzerjaeger concept is no ordinary military vehicle, as this anti-tank solution is completely vehicle-independent. This means that the platform can be integrated across multiple vehicle types, including 4×4, 6×6, 8×8, and tracked, complete with an EOS500 electro-optical sensor system mounted atop a telescopic mast that provides a direct visual view with a target detection range of over 6.8-miles.
There are a total of three fully integrated Rheinmetall “Recce S” drones, each with a reconnaissance range of 4.97-miles, while an onboard charging station ensure they stay powered up for longer missions. Its maing armament includes two launchers, each containing four ready-to-fire Spike LR2 anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), with an additional four missiles stored for reloading.
