Rimac Concept One

The Rimac Concept One aims to put the Tesla Model S P85D to shame, thanks to its four individual electric motors, one for each wheel, that generates a total 1,088 horsepower and reaches 0-62 mph in an insanely quick 2.8-seconds. Rimac says that the Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring System (R-AWTV) controls each motor and wheel independently for optimal driving dynamics. Since electric systems for high-performance electric cars were not available on the market, the company developed the necessary parts and patented 24 innovations. The motors are powered by a 91 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, giving the car a range of 500 km (310 mi) per charge. The car’s body is made of carbon fiber. The interior features custom leatherwork and hand-made dashboard components.
