There are only seven Rimac Concept One vehicles in the world, and one of them could be yours for a whopping $1.6-million. This was the company’s first experimental supercar powered by four hub-mounted electric motors with a 90-kWh Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide battery generating an impressive 1224 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in under 2.5 seconds, while topping out at 220 mph.
At 4188-pounds, this electric hypercar makes extensive use of carbon fiber to help it achieve a range of 217 miles on a full charge. What set it apart from the competition at the time was that each wheel is powered by a separate liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, controlled by the so-called “All Wheel Torque Vectoring System” that distributes the power to the wheels in accordance with user setup and driving conditions.
