Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 Edge teaser video wants us to imagine what ‘Beyond Slim’ could look like, hinting at the phone’s ultra-slim form factor. This comes 5-days before the device’s official reveal on May 13.
It’s reported to be 5.85mm thick, making it Samsung’s thinnest non-foldable smartphone to date, and weighs approximately 163g. For comparison, the standard Galaxy S25 is 7.2mm thick and 162g, despite the Edge’s larger screen.

Available in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue, the phone has a bright 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 1440×3120 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the screen.
Inside, it’s got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, 12GB LPDDR5x RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB (UFS 4.0). For cameras, it has a dual setup on the back with a 200MP main sensor (f/1.7, OIS) and a 12MP ultrawide (f/2.2), plus a 12MP selfie camera (f/2.2).
The phone comes with a 3,900mAh battery, smaller than the 4,000mAh in the standard S25 and 4,900mAh in the S25+, which is a trade-off for its thin design. It’s priced at $1,099–$1,249 in the US, sitting between the S25+ ($1,199) and S25 Ultra ($1,299).
