For those who have been on long-haul international flights, you may think flight attendants rest by just catching a few winks in the back, but in reality, they have their very own sleeping quarters. These secreat areas are often hidden in a compartment at the top of the plane, or a sealed off section in the same main cabin. On at least one configuration of Cathay Pacific’s 777-300ER, there’s a secret staircase at the rear of the plane that leads up to the area, which itself is tunnel like.
