Shao Ziyan is a 5-year-old from China that is reportedly the youngest licensed race car driver in China. In the racing simulator world, he currently ranks 27th in a game with over 10,000 players.
Similar multi-screen racing simulate setups cost around $25,000 USD, and a bit more with the motion platform like you see here. No other information was provided, so we can only assume that the actual driving test required a specially modified car, as the youngster wouldn’t be able to safely reach the pedals in a standard vehicle. Whatever the case may be, Shao Ziyan does appear to have a future in rally car racing, or at the very least in the professional E-sports world.
