A Game Boy Color sewing machine? Yes, it exists, and called the Singer IZEK 1500. Put simply, this sewing machine came bundled with the handheld console, a built-in Link Cable and a small number of Game Boy Color cartridges for sewing design patterns onto clothes, like Mario Family.
There was a total of five software titles made specially for these machines: “Raku x Raku Mishin”, “Sewing Machine Operating Software”, “Raku x Raku Moji”, “Raku x Raku Cut Shuu”, and “Jaguar Mishin Sashi Senyou Soft: Mario Family”. All of the artwork found in these titles is Mario-themed, with appearances by Princess Peach, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, and several others. A character you won’t find in any of them is Bowser who must not take a liking to sewing. You can still find these regularly on eBay, priced between $300 (without Game Boy) to $900+ in almost new condition.
