Turning the TMNT Party Wagon toy into an NES console takes skill, but Snoopy aims to go where no plush has ever gone before…the Moon. It will be sent on Artemis I, the first integrated flight test of the Space Launch System rocket transporting the uncrewed Orion spacecraft around the Moon and back to Earth.
Artemis I will check out all spacecraft systems for the first time before crew fly aboard Artemis II and eventually, sending the first astronauts to Mars. Snoopy will don a zero gravity indicator-equipped space suit that provides a visual indicator of when a spacecraft has reached the weightlessness of microgravity. He’ll be joined by an Artemis I Manikin and two other passengers testing radiation vests for deep space missions.
