You’ve seen the interior of Spaceship Neptune, now check out the floating spaceport where it will launch from. Called the MS Voyager, it will be docked at Port Canaveral and is now being outfitted for launch, retrieval, as well as SpaceBalloon operations at Conrad Shipyard.
When it’s time for travelers to return to Earth at the end of the journey in Spaceship Neptune’s pressurized capsule, a splash-cone at its base will provides a smooth water landing. Fast boats from a Fluid Watercraft will then arrive to stabilize the capsule and lift it onto the Marine Spaceport by a custom-built A-frame. Test flights are set to begin next year, and to date, Space Perspective has sold over 1,000 tickets at their current price of $125,000 USD.
