Sphero’s BB-8 Droid just might be the one you’re looking for, or at least a 4.5-inch tall, app-enabled companion that goes just about anywhere. Simply use your Bluetooth-enabled phone to guide the droid and make it respond to your voice commands. You can also have it send virtual holographic videos, or just let the droid roam free, which has an adaptive personality, learning as you interact with it.
