Spot Robot Dog Q8bot
If Boston Dynamics’ Spot was palm-sized, it would probably look like the Q8bot quadruped robot Rev2. Created by Eric Yufeng, this tiny quadruped robot has all of its components, including the actuators,e mounted directly onto its PCB.



The custom PCB, found on the spine of the robot, controls the eight servos that are plugged directly into connectors on the PCB. When the bottom covers are removed, the servos are fastened to a pair of 3D printed frames on either side of the PCB, which boast built-in cylindrical 14500 battery holders. However, the prototype that you see here utilizes a laptop for control processing, rather than run an autonomous program.
