There’s Stable Doodle, and then the all-new Stable Diffusion XL (SDXL) 1.0. Unlike previous text-to-image AI models, this one will be hosted on Amazon Bedrock, the fully managed service from Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) that provides access to foundation models from leading AI startups via an API.
SDXL utilizes a three times larger UNet backbone with more model parameters to generate images. Plus, the refining process has produced a model that generates more vibrant and accurate colors, with better contrast, lighting, as well as shadows compared to its predecessor. A streamlined imaging process delivers faster results, yielding full 1-megapixel (1024×1024) resolution images in seconds in multiple aspect ratios. Github page here.
