Brooke Greenberg, who is now 19-years-old, has a strange syndrome that no doctors can explain, one that does not allow her to age. Aside from the mutation on chromosome 1, Brooke is perfectly healthy and does not have any chromosomal abnormalities. In addition to looking like a toddler, her mind and body also have not aged. When people ask her mother how old she is, the years get translated into months — i.e. 19-years-old would equal 19-months.
