Students in Thailand were caught cheating during a medical college entrance exams, using an elaborate connected system of devices. School officials found normal-looking glasses equipped with cameras on the side, all of which were connected to smartwatches. To pull it off, they used the cameras to send images of questions to people on the outside, who then transmitted the answers back in text message form to smartwatches. “They did it in real-time. This was the most high-tech exam cheating system ($22,700 USD) I’ve ever seen. We want this to be known in public to make people aware that we must be careful, particularly for medical exams where there is high demand among students but not many vacancies,” according to the professor.
