Star Trek Home Theater
Super fan and financier Marc Bell – managing partner of Marc Bell Capital and chairman of Terran Orbital – spent $1.5-million transforming his home theater room into the USS Enterprise. It all began when he was 10 years old, and stumbled upon a 24-hour Star Trek marathon on TV. Bell hired Jay Miller of Boca Raton-based Acoustic Innovations to work on the theater, and 4-years later, it was completed.

It features D-Box controllers that manipulate hydraulics installed beneath the floorboards that let you feel the movies, a JBL Synthesis sound system, and a $35,000 Prima Cinema system for watching movies released the same day in theaters. Unfortunately, the home theater does not have a warp drive, which would theoretically let you travel at speeds faster than that of light by many orders of magnitude.
