Many have seen the scene in 2 Fast 2 Furious where cars appear to jump a drawbridge, but this Honda Accord just happened to in the wrong place at the not so ideal time. WPTV obtained footage that showed the vehicle stopping at the edge of the Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana and 30-seconds later, it begins to open with the driver still behind the wheel. Honda S2000 Tesla Electric Conversion
Sure, there may have been other Tesla-powered Honda vehicles in the past, but this just might be the first S2000 making 500hp. Put simply, it started out as a standard 2007 Honda S2000 before its owner, Ryan, decided to convert it into an EV. The powertrain consists of a single large Tesla Model S P100D drive unit, paired with two Chevy Volt battery packs with a total of 38 kWh located underneath the hood. Honda engineers collaborated with the staff at CHOC to determine exactly what features should be added.

There are two generations: the initial launch model was given the chassis code AP1 and then a facelifted version, known as the AP2 in North America and Japan. The second-generation Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle (AWV) builds upon its predecessor and adds a suite of sensors to operate autonomously, including GPS for location, radar + LiDAR for obstacle detection as well as stereoscopic (3D) cameras for remote monitoring. When necessary, the vehicle also can be operated from a remote location by a human. New 2023 Acura Integra Prototype
The 2023 Acura Integra has officially been unveiled, and it is going to be the gateway performance model that the company will use for their premium sport compact line. It’s also the first-ever factory-turbocharged Integra, a 1.5L VTEC engine to be more specific, mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a limited slip differential. HondaJet 2600 Concept First Light Jet Nonstop US
Honda Aircraft Company unveiled the HondaJet 2600 Concept at the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, and it’s the world’s first light jet capable of nonstop transcontinental flights in the United States. The aircraft is 40% longer and wider compared to its predecessor, capable of carrying a maximum of 10 passengers, which is 4 more than the original model can transport. Honda Ashirase Navigation Visually Impaired Blind
Honda makes cars, business jets, motorcycles, ATVs, and now, a navigation system for the visually impaired. Called Ashirase, this system consists of a smartphone app and a three-dimensional vibration device fitted with a motion sensor that is attached inside the shoe. After setting the desired route on a smartphone, the device vibrates to provide navigation. When you need to straight, the vibrator positioned on the front part of the foot vibrates, and when the user is approaching a right or left turn, it then vibrates in that direction to notify them.
