
Subaru’s Project Midnight is now the world’s fastest and quickest WRX race car yet, or at least from the factory. It’s based on the 2020 Subaru WRX STI, nicknamed Airslayer, that starred in the viral video Gymkhana 2020 with over 65 million views where it completed a 230-foot jump where its active rear wing controlled the car’s airborne attitude.

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N officially set a new Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for crossover EVs this past weekend. Two IONIQ 5 N TA (Time Attack) Specs as well as one production IONIQ 5 N conquered the 12.42-mile (20 km) course that ascends over 4,700 feet (1,438 meters) to the summit of Pikes Peak, complete with 156 turns.

Gravity Industries held the world’s first jet suit race in Dubai on February 28. Pilots were equipped with the company’s jet suits, each one powered by seven turbine engine generating a combined 1,500-horsepower and using the same kind of fuel as the Emirates’ Airbus A380.

The Las Vegas F1 GP has come and gone, but one detail fans may have missed is the giant logo atop the pit building. Samsung used 25,000 LED modules to create this spectacle sitting atop the 1,000-foot-long pit building rooftop that’s so bright astronauts may have even seen it from outer space.

F1 drivers Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Yuki Tsunoda, and Daniel Ricciardo raced around the Nevada desert in hovercrafts ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix tomorrow for the latest episode of the (Un)serious Race Series. Each pair piloted Renegade Hovercrafts decked out in their respective Red Bull and AlphaTauri team livery, complete with a a crashed UFO lodged in the dry lakebed.
