Star Trek Picard
Patrick Stewart introduced the first trailer for Star Trek: Picard at San Diego Comic-Con today, and fans attending were able to preview the series before the internet. The trailer opens with Picard in the vineyard where he opens some doors and looks at his old belongings. We find out that Data sacrificed his life for Picard. “I wanted to belong here, but it never felt like home,” said Picard. Read more for the video and additional information.

Top Gun Maverick
Paramount Pictures debuted the first Top Gun: Maverick trailer at San Diego Comic Con today and Tom Cruise will once again be flying high on the big screen. This movie takes place 34 years after the original film, and Maverick is the new flight instructor of the Top Gun school, guiding Goose’s son to become a pilot. The actor made a surprise visit to the convention on Thursday to promote the upcoming sequel during the Terminator: Dark Fate panel and said: “I felt it was my responsibility to deliver for you.” Read more for the trailer and additional information.

Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn Shang Tsung
NetherRealm Studios has just released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11’s first DLC character, Shang Tsung, and teases Sindel, Nightwolf, and the highly anticipated Spawn. The add-on will cost players $40, and features six new characters, one week of early access starting with Shang Tsung on June 18th, 7 exclusive character skins, and 7 exclusive sets of gear. Jim Carrey Doctor Eggman
Paramount has just released thefirst trailer of the live-action “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie, and we get a first look at actor Jim Carrey playing Sonic’s nemesis Dr. Robotnik. We also see Sonic, voiced by “Parks and Recreation” star Ben Schwartz, zipping through forests and taking out the entire energy grid while sprinting along the highway. Mortal Kombat 11 Kitana D'Vorah
NetherRealm Studios have just released two new trailers showcasing Kitana and D’Vorah. The former keeps many of her classic moves, such as fan throws as well as the ability to lift opponents off the ground and suspend them in mi-air. She also has a new teleport dive kick, teleport throat slit, and a projectile absorber. Players can choose to play as the living Princess of Edenia Kitana of the past or as the undead Princess of the Netherrealm Kitana of the present. Mortal Kombat 11 is set for release on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 23rd. Read more for the two new videos and additional information.

Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker
Star Wars: Episode IX, officially called “The Rise of Skywalker,” director J.J. Abrams said Friday during an appearance at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago that some time has gone by since the events of the last movie and doesn’t pick up immediately after the events of “The Last Jedi.” Yes, Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia will make an appearance through unused scenes from “The Force Awakens” that have been integrated into the story. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is an spin-off film of the franchise directed by David Leitch of Deadpool 2 fame that centers around Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Two years after the events of The Fate of the Furious, federal agent Luke Hobbs and former-British military turned mercenary Deckard Shaw join forces in order to stop a new threat emerging from the cyber-genetically enhanced international terrorist known as Brixton. John Wick 3 Trailer
In this Chapter 3 Parabellum, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is still on the run following his assassination of a member of the High Table in The Continental after being excommunicated from every Continental service, and has a $14 million global contract on his head. This forces him to fight his way out of New York City with the help of a hitwoman (Halle Berry) who still believes in his trust. It’s set to hit theaters in the US on May 17, 2019. Avengers 4 Endgame

The final installment of the “Avengers” franchise is coming, and it’s officially called “Avengers: Endgame”. The first trailer starts off with Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., adrift in space, before we see Thanos’ armor and the supervillain himself, as Black Widow says that the villain did “exactly what he said he was going to do” — wiping out half of all life on Earth. Live-Action Lion King Movie

It’s true, The Lion King is getting a live-action reboot, and it’s directed by Jon Favreau. Thisphotorealistic computer-animated remake of Disney’s traditionally animated 1994 film of the same name features the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Keegan-Michael Key, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and James Earl Jones. Principal photography began the summer of 2017 on a blue screen stage in Los Angeles, and the film is scheduled for an official release on July 19, 2019.
