Tago Arc is essentially an E Ink bracelet that can be customized to however the user desires, and it doesn’t even need to be charged…ever. Users connect it to a smartphone companion app that will allow them to create their own designs, or purchase from a library of images. This fashion accessory features a 150 pixels per inch grayscale display and is compatible with NFC-equipped smartphone for switching images – basically any Android 4+ smartphone. “In order to switch designs on the E Ink display, users touch and hold their smartphone to the bracelet. At present, the transfer process takes around 18 seconds, but the company has promised to streamline things, lowering wait times to around the five-second mark,” reports Gizmag.
