Beyond the palm scanner the D2 Pro has other ways to get in. A touchscreen keypad lets you enter a 6 digit code, two included NFC fobs for tap to unlock and physical keys for old school reliability. The TCL Home Security app lets you unlock the door from anywhere with Wi-Fi, while voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant adds another layer of convenience.
