You’d think that after eating McDonalds for 90-days straight, just about anyone would gain at least a few pounds, but that’s not the case with John Cisna, a science teacher from Ankeny, Iowa. Three of his high school students helped plan out his diet this past fall. All of his meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner – were from the fast food chain, but with strict daily nutritional limitations of 2,000 calories and trying to stay close to the recommended dietary allowances for nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fat calories, cholesterol, according to news station KCCI. Making the story even more interesting, Cisna told the owner of the local McDonalds franchise about his experiment, and he agreed to provide the food for free. The Blaze reports: “Cisna said a typical breakfast would be two egg white delights, a bowl of their maple oatmeal and a 1 percent milk. A salad for lunch would be followed by more traditional value meal at dinner.”
