Techrules AT96 Supercar

This newly formed automotive research firm from China is starting things off with a bang, the Techrules AT96 to be exact. It features the company’s innovative turbine-recharging electric vehicle technology (TREV), which when combined with six electric motors, produces an impressive 1,030-horsepower and 6,372 lb-ft of torque. All this equates 0-62mph time of 2.5 seconds, packaged in a carbon fiber monocoque that brings the total weight to just 3,042-pounds. “And, though much of the technological claims sound too good to be true, Techrules does have a working prototype of this turbine-powered car – which can be seen in the video below – and are actively working toward producing a limited production run of some version of a TREV-powered vehicle,” reports Hi Consumption.
