Jadon Brooks, an 18-year-old theme park fan from New Jersey, managed to build an incredible roller coaster for his little sister, Eden, in their parents’ backyard, using just PVC pipes, wood, and a few parts purchased at a local hardware store. All in all, it only cost him $1,500 to complete the project, and the cable-powered ride is safe enough for both thrill-seekers to ride. “I give it an ‘A’ for creativity and ‘A’ for industrious,” said amusement ride safety inspector Walter Reiss.
