Professor Alexander M. Gorlov created the vertical wind turbine axis, which accepts wind from any angle, back in 1990, and the Tesla T1 V2 electric supercar makes use of this invention. Simply put, this vehicle is equipped with specially designed wheels equipped with 3D-printed Gorlov turbines, and when more air enters these, energy is recovered. “This is highly efficient as Le Mans provides an average of 77% full throttle per lap for maximum race performance and higher speeds,” said its creator. It also boasts a “Dynamic Axis System”, enabling it to turn from the center of both axes, thus shortening the wheelbase, and improving agility.
