Drinkable Book

Approximately 3.4-million-people die each year from water-related diseases across the world. WATERisLIFE teamed up with researchers from Carnegie Mellon and the University of Virginia to do something about it. Costing just a few pennies to manufacture, “The Drinkable Book” both teaches water hygiene and serves as an advanced filter that kills deadly bacteria as well as diseases. Think of the book as a coffee filter of sorts, as in when water passes through it, more than 99% of the harmful bacteria are killed, making it comparable to the tap water in the US. Best of all, each filter page can provide up to 30-days worth of clean drinking water, with one book can offering up potable water for up to 4-years.
