Designers Hadeel Ayed Mohammad, Yifeng Zhao and Chengda Zhu have created “The Hive”, a control terminal of sorts that offers docking and charging stations for drones in the heart of Manhattan, NYC. This drone skyscraper takes into consideration all of the new air-zoning regulations, and hopes to offer a safer alternative for users. Continue reading for more pictures and information.
“This centrally controlled model will be more appealing to the legislative sector as it adheres to the concerns about regulating drone traffic. The primary location of the building does not only gather the commercial power of Manhattan, but also stands away from the no-fly-zones set by the federal aviation administration,” said the Design Boom.
