When closed, R-Kaid-R just looks like a wooden box, with a vintage arcade joystick handle, but when you open the lid, it becomes a fully-functional portable gaming system, running MAME, which lets you play over 10,000 titles. Beneath the joystick, you’ll find a battery that lets you game for 8-hours continuously on a single charge, along with a USB port and SD card slot (16GB included). While there haven’t been any details on the actual hardware powering the R-Kaid-R, but we assume it’s something along the lines of Rasberry Pi.
