GoPro fans rejoice! Here is yet another creative use for the action cam, courtesy of German journalist and photographer Jonas Ginter. Simply put, he created a custom 3D-printed rig that enabled him to film with 6 GoPro cameras simultaneously, producing the spherical 360-degree effect you see in the preview image above. Technically speaking, “the video’s known as a stereographic projection – it’s named for a technique that turns a spherical surface into a 2D plane,” according to The Verge.
