Overview
From the moment you unbox these speakers, you’ll notice that quality was put first. Small touches like elegant touch controls to its modern industrial-design aesthetic, nothing was spared in terms of style. On the technical side, 40 watts of amplification provides rich, realistic sound, while HARMAN TrueStream ensures the highest quality sound no matter the application or source device. In addition to Bluetooth wireless streaming, a 1/8-inch (3.5-millimeter) stereo audio connection was also included, so you can use these speakers with nearly any device that has stereo line-level outputs.
We tried these SoundSticks with several genres of music and found that the bass was deep and clear, thanks in part to its down-firing design, which makes your system less susceptible to adverse room variables. The mids and highs really kicked in when playing rock music, boosted by the eight full-range transducers (four in each satellite speaker). Its flexible design allows you to aim the small-footprint “sticks” wherever you may be.
