Transparent Microsoft Xbox Console Glass
There’s the world’s smallest Xbox, and then this custom-built transparent Microsoft Xbox console by Bithead1000. Disassembling the original console was the first step before the chassis itself could be traced on clear acrylic and then cut out. Next, some of the electronics were tested in the new glass case to ensure they worked.

An acrylic platform for the disc drive also had to be fabricated. Once everything was successfully reassembled, a giant ‘X’ logo was added to the top of the console, just like the original console. Speaking of the original Xbox, did you know that it was first announced back in March 2000? That’s right, the console was built around standard PC components, using variations of Microsoft Windows and DirectX as its operating system to support games and media playback. Hardware wise, it featured a 733 MHz Intel Pentium III CPU and a 233 MHz NVIDIA GeForce 3-based NV2A GPU, thus making the console more powerful than both the PS2 and SEGA Dreamcast.
