U-Haul Box Truck Tiny Home Conversion
When you think of a U-Haul box truck, moving and transporting things usually comes to mind, but Nomad Brad spent the past 7-years converting this one into a sleek tiny home. It’s based on a Ford E-450, powered by a 5.4L V8 engine generating 255 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.

Since the container itself has an interior height of 6’11.5″, most adults can stand comfortable inside and gives it a more spacious feeling. The kitchenette on this unit has a stainless steel exhaust hood that vents cooking odors to the outside, while a commercial-grade espresso machine brings the coffee shop experience anywhere you go. The box truck runs entirely on a roof-mounted 1,280W solar power system consisting of a 3000 watt inverter/charger, 4 x 110V outlets, 4 x USB charging ports, a breaker box, solar disconnect, and 5200 watt hours of lithium.

I like how you pulled out the ramp to make a mini patio! This is a great studio apt on wheels Brad, the only thing I’d do differently is perhaps add a shower with a gray water tank and a propane fired hot water source. No doubt you will have a quick sale though!,” said one commenter.
