According to Mike Aiello, Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights creative director, his team is planning to recreate the cabin completely. “You’re going to walk through a forest to get there. Aiello envisions the maze as a “kind of best-of montage of the film” linked together with a new take on the story. Many of the movie’s monsters will feature in the attraction, including some that were only depicted on screens inside the control room. The maze is being built with Goddard’s and Whedon’s blessing; Goddard tells Fox News that he’s “too excited by it…I’m just so happy that the film has continued to live on.”
