Before this April Fools’ weekend ends, we’d like to finish it off with ThinkGeek’s “Useless Light Switch”, yet another interesting product that may become a reality sooner than later. Based on The Useless Box, this interesting switch ensures that nobody will ever leave the lights on again by accident. Simply put, once you flip the lights on, a lever comes out of the top screw hole in the switch plate to turn the lights right back off for no good reason. That’s all it does, period. Best of all, it’s easy to install, and there’s no need to worry about electrical connections, since the switch oes doesn’t use wall power for operation.
