The new Valve x Multimorphic Portal pinball machine is built on the company’s modular P3 platform, packed with elements from both games, including interactive mechs, 10 RGB illuminated physical playfield portals, as well as 6 additional scoop portals, through which the ball can “travel through” instantly.
Available in Portal Standard ($11,620) and Portal Extended ($12,500) editions, both feature the same upper playfield module and game software, while the latter also includes the Portal module extension. Now you might be wondering why pay more for the module extension? Well, it basically floats over the screen and brings the gameplay closer to the flippers. This means even more decorated catwalks, a physical spinner, four physical targets, a third dynamic ramp, the hidden gel tube kickback mechanism, as well as an elevated, cross-playfield Hard Light Bridge experience. Both pinball machines begin shipping this summer.
