MacRumors reports the Apple is currently developing two new iPhone models, and one of them will reportedly hit Verizon sooner than later. Put simply, “the new GSM version would be released this summer while the CDMA model for Verizon would not go into production until September.”
Verizon was in talks with Apple to gain access to the iPhone and the iPad, though no official news resulted. Verizon also purportedly claimed that its network is already ready for the iPhone and the associated network traffic it would bring.
