Walmart Alquist 3D-Printed Commercial Structure Store
Project Milestone is expanding in the Netherlands, while Walmart has partnered with Alquist 3D stateside to build the nation’s largest free-standing, 3D-printed commercial concrete structure. More specifically, a nearly 8,000-square-foot, 20-foot-high addition to its store in Athens, Tennessee.



This expansion will be dedicated to enhancing Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery (OPD) program once complete. It marks the first time the company has utilized 3D printing technology at this scale. The work completed by Alquist in Athens has already led to a second project with Walmart in the near future.
