Superpowerless’ music video for their Wasted My Time song is “set in a pseudo-video game world, complete with balloons, cardboard boxes, random coins and pop-up score bubbles to tell the player how he’s doing.” Video after the break.
There are elements of Super Mario Bros, Pac-Man, Mario Kart, maybe a little Metroid, a little Street Fighter and a few others – but the greatest element, of course, is that the player is actually living in the video game.
