Growing Drones Chemputer

Why bother with 3D-printing, when you’ll soon be able to grow your own drones. Researchers at BAE Systems and the University of Glasgow are developing military drones that can be grown from molecular building blocks in a matter of days. The technology will be based on Chemputer tecnology, which is essentially “digitally controlled chemistry,” or creating tools that will help direct the assembly of complex objects in a machine with minimal human input after the initial configuration.
