Created by industrial designer Inyeop Baek, this whimsical Wi-Fi router breaks away from the conventional blocky shape, and imagines this piece of technology as a small factory. complete with smoke stacks. “The introduction of this interesting design has allowed the router to become a more desirable object as opposed to a necessity that we try and hide. Factory makes for an excellent desk accessory that offers another layer of functionality that at first goes unnoticed; the traditional peaked roofing of the factories lends itself to being used as a pen tray, keeping the desk tidy and organized,” according to Yanko Design.
