
ND Woodworking Art spent 6-months building a life-sized wooden Mercedes AMG G63 SUV, which is actually a Mitsubishi Pajero in disguise. That’s right, the donor vehicle first had to be stripped down to the bare chassis before a new hand-assembled G63 steel frame could be welded on.
It’s safe to say that this wooden G63 is much heavier than its real-life counterpart, but considering the interior features door panels, dashboard, and air vents, all of that extra weight appears to be justified. Yes, even the center console made and seats were hand-assembled from wood, complete with detailed patterns.
