This pizza may not be practical, but it did take 5,000 batches of dough baked over a 48-hour period by a group of people to make. It is now officially the world’s largest pizza, according to the Guinness World Records. Continue reading for a video and more information.

This event was coordinated by by Dr. Schar, a company who produces gluten-free food. The pizza utilized 19,800 pounds of flour, 10,000 pounds of tomato sauce, 8,800 pounds of mozzarella cheese, 1,488 pounds of margarine, 551 pounds of rock salt, 220 pounds of lettuce and 55 pounds of vinegar. It officially weighed in at 51257-pounds.
